This project will involve the renovation of the main building as well as improvements to the Auditorium. Most of the project will focus on the interior of the building; however, the windows will be replaced and the openings will be reworks to be more consistent with campus architecture.
This project will support the relocation of the Math Technology Learning Center (MTLC) and will accommodate introductory laboratories for Physics, Astronomy, Geography, Geology, and New College.
The 3rd and 4th floors will be repurposed to accommodate the MTLC, made necessary by the demolition of the Tutwiler Annex, which is the MTLC’s current location.
New spaces will accommodate a studio format, which integrates lectures and labs for a more efficient and valuable academic experience.
